Maureen Henry, R.N.

Nurse Paralegal

Maureen reviews and analyzes the medical records for all of our medical malpractice and personal injury matters.

Maureen is empathetic towards those who have experienced loss, both physically and emotionally, due to medical malpractice and/or personal injury. She understands the importance of ensuring that you feel that your case is being managed by compassionate, supportive, and knowledgeable professionals, as this is what you deserve.

A graduate of SUNY Farmingdale’s Registered Nursing Program, Maureen’s clinical history spans twenty five years of Critical Care Nursing. In addition to working as a staff nurse in a Medical/Surgical ICU, a Coronary Care Unit, a Special Care Unit and then finally a Post op Recovery Room (PACU), Maureen further expanded her role to that of a Nursing Supervisor covering the night shift at a local community hospital. Eager to explore new horizons, Maureen subsequently enrolled in Hofstra’s Legal Nurse Consultant Program where she obtained specialized legal training which, in combination with her experience as a health care provider, afforded her the knowledge necessary to consult with attorneys on medically-related cases such as those involving medical malpractice and personal injury.

Maureen joined SR Law in 2018 and works closely with the attorneys to ensure that the evidence hiding in your medical records is revealed so that you get the justice that you deserve. When you speak with Maureen you will hear the comforting care and concern in her voice.

A careful and thorough review/interpretation of medical record information in an efficient and timely manner is an important component in preparing medical malpractice and personal injury cases, and Maureen’s unique experience and education coupled with her sincere empathy makes her a integral part of the SR Law team.

On a personal level, Maureen is married with four adult children and two grandchildren. She and her husband Mike, a retired NYPD detective, are passionate travelers and enjoy discovering America in their RV motorhome.
