ALEGRIA & BAROVICK LLP PROMOTE CYCLING SAFETY AT WCC BIKE RODEO
Attorneys Barovick Law and Anselmo Alegria, founding partners of Alegria & Barovick LLP, are proud to announce they will be volunteering at the Westchester Cycle Club (WCC) inaugural Bike Rodeo on Sunday, June 5. “The goal of the Bike Rodeo is to promote safe cycling,” said Barovick. “We will be teaching related skills to kids age 5 and up, as our firm is committed to the community and instituting safe practices in all areas of life.”
The purpose of the not-for-profit Westchester Cycle Club is to educate the general public about safety and the benefits of bicycle riding, and to promote community awareness and enjoyment of cycling. The WCC, which in 2011 was designated the top bicycling club in the country by the League of American Bicyclists, will be holding the Bike Rodeo from 10 a.m. until noon in downtown White Plains.
“This will be a fun-filled family event and not only an opportunity to share your love of cycling with new riders, but a chance to teach them important and necessary safety skills,” said Alegria, who has two young children with whom he regularly bikes. “There will be a series of stations set up and each will teach one aspect of safe cycling, such as bike fit, helmet fit, starts and stops, scanning, and more.”
