Attorney Sandra M. Radna was recently featured by Long Island Press for being among the distinguished recipients of the publication’s Power Women in Business Award for 2019. Recipients of the awarded were honored in an annual event, that was emceed this year by Emmy Award-winning WNBC correspondent Pei-Sze Cheng.
The Power Women Award was established to honor “high-powered women whose achievements and participation in business and their communities have made a positive difference on Long Island.” The Power Women Awards event also raises funds for charitable causes, such as Girls Inc, Long Island – a non-profit organizing that focuses on motivating young women to be strong, intelligent, and bold.
Recipients also have an opportunity to network with other leaders in the community, ranging from entrepreneurs, politicians, religious leaders, lawyers, and other professionals.
Joanna Austin, the publisher of the Long Island Press, addressed the award recipients, saying, “We have the honor of recognizing change makers, rainmakers, innovators, educators, and visionaries – all using your voice to impact change…”
