Founding Attorney

Sandra is kind and compassionate with her clients. With regard to her tenacity when in court matters, she has been described by her clients as a “pitbull with a heart”. Sandra is a great listener who doesn’t rush her clients when they need to speak with her about their situation. She truly loves helping her clients and has a strong sense of empathy for their experiences. Sandra fights for her clients and handles highly contentious and complex cases successfully through to trial when necessary. Sandra has been practicing law since 1993 and her many years of experience coupled with her empathy for the humanity of others repeatedly results in success for her clients.

Sandra was a pre-Med major and psychology minor at Hofstra from where she graduated with a B.A. prior to attending Adelphi University for Nursing. While in college she worked at Nassau County Medical Center in the Poison Control Center for 4 years, where she became proficient in reading medical records. After a brief stint at the American Diabetes Association, Sandra obtained her law degree. Her law degree coupled with her medical experience landed her a job at a large medical malpractice defense firm right out of law school. Wanting to do more than work for insurance companies, Sandra took a job with a sole practitioner where she began practicing medical malpractice on the side of the patient/victim and learned the areas of personal injury and divorce. Sandra started her own firm with a partner and after 17 years started her current practice which she has had since 2012.

Sandra is proud of the team that she has built since 2012 because of the compassion they show for the firm’s clients and the excellent results that are obtained on their behalf. Sandra has instilled in every employee that viewing a case from the client’s perspective is the key to strong and passionate advocacy.

Sandra is the author of You’re Getting Divorced…Now What?, a book that addresses issues that arise when going through divorce and particularly through divorce court.

On a personal level, Sandra is married to Bill. They have two sons. Sandra loves to read and spend time with her family and her Jack Russell Terrier, Julien.
