Divorce – Marital assets

Client came to us for a divorce.  Our client wished to retain the marital residence even though it had been transferred jointly to both spouses during the marriage as it had been our client’s family home.  Spouse did not agree.  We were able to negotiate an agreement that caused the house to be transferred solely into our client’s name along with division of the other marital assets.
